Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 2026
FPL Analyzer should be usable by every Fantasy Premier League manager, including those who
browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced motion enabled. This page
sets out where we currently stand — honestly, including what still needs work.
1. Standard We Aim For
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have not yet completed a formal third-party
audit, so we describe this as our target rather than certified conformance. Where
we know we fall short, it is listed below rather than omitted.
2. What Is Supported Today
- Keyboard navigation — interactive controls are reachable and operable without a mouse.
- Visible focus — a high-contrast focus ring is shown on the element you are on.
- Reduced motion — animations, shimmer effects and hover transitions are disabled when your
system requests prefers-reduced-motion.
- Light and dark themes — both are available, and the interface follows your theme choice.
- Responsive layout — the interface reflows down to small screens and supports browser zoom
without horizontal scrolling of the page body.
- Text alternatives — icon-only buttons carry accessible labels.
- No account required — the core analysis tools work without signing in.
3. Known Limitations
We would rather name these than imply they do not exist:
- Fixture difficulty is colour-coded. Difficulty ratings also show a number, but some
dense tables still lean on colour to convey meaning at a glance.
- Data-heavy tables (transfer planner, mini-league standings) can be demanding to
navigate with a screen reader, and may scroll horizontally on small screens.
- Screenshot analysis is inherently visual. If you cannot upload a squad screenshot,
you can enter your FPL Manager ID or pick your squad manually instead — both give the same analysis.
- Some charts and visualisations do not yet expose a text or table equivalent.
- Formal audit outstanding. Testing to date has been internal, not independent.
4. Alternatives If Something Blocks You
- Prefer not to upload an image? Use Manager ID entry or manual squad selection.
- Find the interface busy? Simple Mode gives plain-English answers with far less on screen.
- Need larger text? The layout supports browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
5. Reporting a Barrier
If any part of FPL Analyzer is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us — it is
treated as a bug, not a feature request.
Email accessibility@fpl-analyzer.com with the page,
what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use if relevant. We aim to respond
within 5 working days.
6. Scope
This statement covers the FPL Analyzer web application at
fpl-analyzer.com. Data is supplied by the official Fantasy
Premier League API; pages hosted by third parties (including the official FPL site) are outside
our control.
FPL Analyzer is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League, or any football club.
